Poorman wins ARCA Truck Series race

(TOLEDO, Ohio - May 18, 2013) -- Montpelier, Ohio resident Chad Poorman took the checkered flag Saturday in the Grogan's Towne 50, the ARCA Truck Series race a Toledo Speedway.

Poorman took the lead after a red flag restart on lap 13 and won comfortably over Levi Mansfield of Oakwood, Ohio, and Shawn Szep of Marysville, Ohio.

Poorman dominated the race, leading at the halfway point and having nearly a half-track margin with 10 laps to go.

Kenny Kirsch of Hamilton, Ohio, was running in second place early in the race when he was caught up in a crash with a vehicle that had spun in turn four. His truck was heavily damaged and did not return to the race.

The ARCA Truck Series race followed the ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards qualifying. It was a 50-lap feature.

Danny Jackson had won the season opening ARCA Truck Series race at Flat Rock Speedway last week, but his truck had problems and did not start in Saturday's event
