ACME DISMANTLING, R & M RECYCLING RENEW TOLEDO SPORTSMAN, X CAR BACKING

(TOLEDO, Ohio - February 20, 2013) - Toledo Speedway officials have announced that a pair of Toledo-based businesses, ACME Dismantling and R & M Recycling, will return as division sponsors for the upcoming season.  ACME has pledged its support of the ARCA Sportsman division, while R & M Recycling will now sponsor the new “X” Car class on the short track at the Glass City speedplant.

The ACME Dismantling Sportsman division, Toledo’s featured ½ mile class for the Friday night race cards, kicks off its 2013 season May 3.  The class will also venture to Toledo’s sister track, Flat Rock, MI Speedway for a pair of races, in an effort to bring more exposure to the division.  Both Flat Rock events will be point races that will count towards the Toledo 2013 championship run.  ACME Dismantling is entering its 3rd consecutive season of sponsorship of the division at Toledo.

The 2 businesses join Parts Galore, the Figure 8 division title sponsor at both tracks, Moran Chevrolet (Flat Rock Late Models) and DTS Drive Train Specialists (Flat Rock Street Stocks) as returnees of race car division sponsors for the 2013 campaign.

“With the new season just over 60 days away, we are very pleased to announce the return of ACME Dismantling and R & M Recycling as division sponsors,” noted Casey Wagner, Assistant General Manager of the 2 tracks. “Our thanks to Pete Bailey and Chuck Burge of ACME and to Mike Rogers of R & M for their continued support of our race teams.”
