BUCKEYE CABLE SPORTS NETWORK TO AGAIN AIR 10 FLAT ROCK/TOLEDO EVENTS

(TOLEDO, OH - February 5, 2013) - Buckeye Cable System, the Toledo-area cable television provider, will once again air a total of ten (10) Flat Rock and Toledo Speedway events from the 2013 track schedules as part of the popular “Sunday Night at the Races” programming this season on the Buckeye Cable Sports Network (BCSN).  The telecasts are slated for the 9 p.m. time slot.

Toledo Speedway will also serve as a major sponsor of the “Sunday Night at the Races” telecasts on the local cable-access channel.

BCSN will venture to Flat Rock Speedway for the second consecutive year to tape the two ARCA Late Model Gold Cup races, the June 22 Joy Fair Memorial 100 and the July 27 Moran Chevrolet Stan Yee Memorial 150. 

The Toledo Speedway events that are slated to be aired for the BCSN “Sunday Night at the Races” telecasts are the season’s first race, set for Saturday, April 20—the 7-Up 150 for the ARCA/CRA and ARCA Midwest Late Models.  BCSN will also be at the track Friday, May 10 for the ARCA Late Model Gold Cup 100 event.  Other dates include the Friday, June 14 All American Coach “Fastest Short Track Show in the World,” featuring the MSA Super Modifieds and the AVBBSS Winged Sprints; the Friday, July 5 weekly show and the Friday, July 12 Parts Galore 100 for the Gold Cup Series. 

BCSN will return to Toledo for a special Thursday, August 8 event, new to the schedule.  The track will host “All 8 Night,” featuring races on the Figure track!  Friday, August 16 the ARCA Late Model Gold Cup Miller Lite 100, a companion race with the Main Event Late Model Series, will also be covered by the local cable access group. 

The track’s signature event, the Saturday, September 28 Great Lakes Helicopter Glass City 200 Super Late Model invitational will also be taped and shown at a later date. The race is celebrating its Silver Anniversary in 2013.
