(WESTLAND, Mich. - May 17, 2012) - Shelly Young, age 51, the wife of ARCA official wrecker driver Louie Young and mother of ARCA Flat Rock Speedway official Douglas Young, passed away Tuesday, May 15, after an illness.

Shelly is also survived by another son, Shawn, daughter Christy Glander, a brother, a sister, and three grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Saturday, May 19, from noon-6 p.m. at the Uht Funeral Home, 35400 Glenwood, Westland MI 48186. Services will begin at 6 p.m.

Memorials are suggested to be made to the family.
