Monster Trucks, Fireworks And More At “Level Pebble Spectacular” May 27
(FLAT ROCK, Michigan - May 16, 2012) - Flat Rock Speedway will host the very first “Level Pebble Spectacular”, featuring ARCA Truck racing, a 250 lap Enduro race, a Monster Truck exhibition and FIREWORKS at the conclusion of the Saturday, May 26 show.
The Monster Truck exhibition will feature 2 Monster Trucks competing in a wheelie contest, donut contest and a Freestyle event. This is the first time that these huge, ground-pounding giants have visited the track. Monster Truck rides will be available to fans following the qualifying session at approximately 6:15 p.m. for $5 per person.
A 100 lap feature on the ¼ mile paved oval for the ARCA Truck Series will start the racing card at 7 p.m., followed by the Monster Truck Donut and Wheelie contests, with the 250 lap Enduro race next up. The Monster Truck freestyle event will take place after the Enduro, and the evening will be capped off with a fireworks display, with great viewing from the grandstands and spectator hill at the speedway!
“We are very excited about the Level Pebble Spectacular Saturday, May 27 at Flat Rock,” noted Scott Schultz, General Manager of the track. “This is a great way for fans of all ages to start the Memorial Day holiday weekend. The combination of events for this date, adding the Monster Trucks for the first time and having a fireworks display to finish things up will make for a fun night of family entertainment.”
Flat Rock Speedway features racing every Saturday night throughout the summer. The front gates open at 4 and racing begins at 7 p.m. The track is located on Telegraph Road, just 5 minutes from I-75 or I-275. The track phone number is 734-782-2480.
