Several more cars are expected after Wednesday night’s practice session at the ¼ mile paved oval, which will run from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. The pit gate opens at 4. Defending Gold Cup Series champion and 150 race winner Mike Root, 3-time Flat Rock champion Eric Lee, defending track champ Paul Pelletier and Dennis Strickland, winner of the 100 lap Gold Cup race at Flat Rock in June, lead the parade of entries.
