FLAT ROCK, TOLEDO SCHOOL BUS RACE TICKETS NOW ON SALE!
(TOLEDO, Ohio - August 10, 2011) - Two of the most popular events at Flat Rock and Toledo Speedways, the School Bus Figure 8 races, have tickets now on sale for both contests. Friday, September 2 is the date for Toledo’s Wendy’s Hamburgers “Night of Destruction”, while Flat Rock Speedway will host the Grillers Select BBQ Sauce School Bus races Saturday, September 10.
The order form can be downloaded from either track’s website at www.flatrockspeedway.com or www.toledospeedway.com. Go to the ticket button for the order form. Checks and most major credit cards are accepted for mail orders, or fans can call the Toledo office at 419-727-1100 or the Flat Rock office at 734-782-2480. Tickets are not available for purchase on-line. The ONLY tickets sold in advance are the reserved seats.
Toledo’s reserved section includes bench seating with back rests in the center of the main stands, directly in front of the scoring tower. All reserved seats are $16 regardless of age. These tickets guarantee the race fan a seat in a prime location for all the fun and excitement of the September 2 Wendy’s “Night of Destruction”. The gates will open at 5:30 and the race begins at 7:30 p.m. The ticket office will also open at 5:30 on race day. ALL general admission and children’s tickets will go on sale at that time. The rain date for the event is Sunday, September 4, also at 7:30 p.m.
Flat Rock’s reserved seating plan for the September 10 Grillers Select BBQ Sauce School Bus event features chair-back seating in the center of the main grandstand. All reserved seating is $16 each regardless of age. The front gate and ticket office will open at 4:30 p.m. race day. ALL general admission tickets and children’s tickets will go on sale at 4:30 p.m. Race time is 7 p.m. The rain date for the bus race only is Saturday, September 17, also at 7 p.m.
Toledo Speedway is also offering reserved seating for 2 more events left on the 2011 schedule; the 23rd running of the Great Lakes Helicopters Glass City 200 Late Model invitational, set for Saturday, October 1; and the ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards National Championship 200 presented by Federated Car Care on Sunday, October 16.
