Buckeye 305 Sprint Cars To Return To Toledo June 10

(TOLEDO, Ohio - May 19, 2011) - Toledo Speedway management and the Buckeye 305 Sprint Cars have agreed on a return date for the Winged machines due to the May 13 rain-out.  The open-wheel group will return to the Glass City oval for the Friday night, June 10 race card.

Stanford-Allen Chevrolet/Cadillac of Monroe will sponsor the night of racing, which will include the ARCA R & M Recycling Street Stocks, the Parts Galore Figure 8’s and the Jeff’s Collision 4 Cylinders.

In addition to the 305 Sprint Cars, the June 10 show will feature the first of 2 “Road Course” races, which uses parts of the ¼ mile, ½ mile and pit road!  The very first event of this type took place last September, and was very exciting and entertaining for drivers and fans alike.  Billy Earley is the defending race winner.

The Road Course cars will consist of Street Stocks, Enduro cars, Figure 8’s and 4 Cylinders.  No particular car has an advantage in the event, which features a right-turn chicane in front of the grandstands.

The front gates will open at 4:30, practice begins at 4:30, time trials are at 6 and racing begins at 7:30 p.m. every Friday night.  Log onto www.toledospeedway.com for more information.
