FLAT ROCK, TOLEDO CONTINGENCY AWARD PROGRAMS SET

(Toledo, Ohio—April 20, 2011):  Flat Rock and Toledo Speedway race teams will be vying for several contingency award programs during the 2011 racing season.  New to the mix this season is the Sunoco Race Fuels bonus program.  Five Star RaceCar Bodies, Penske Shocks, Allegiant Air and AR Bodies have all renewed their award programs with the two-ARCA sanctioned short tracks. Five Star, based out of Twin Lakes, WI, has posted a total of four (4) $500 product certificates for the season for the ARCA Street Stock division and the ARCA Sportsman class.  These awards will be given out at the track’s awards banquet in a random draw.   Penske Shocks, with the local shop located in Brooklyn, MI on the grounds of Michigan International Speedway, is posting awards for the ARCA Late Model division at Flat Rock and the ARCA Allegiant Air Gold Cup Series, a set of 5 races between the 2 tracks.  The highest finishing car running Penske Shocks in the final points of both Flat Rock and the Gold Cup Series will receive a $300 product certificate, while the next Penske Shock customer in the final points of each will take home a $200 product certificate. Toledo Express Airport is a hub for Allegiant Air, and the air carrier will provide a pair of round-trip tickets to the top 3 point men in the final ARCA Gold Cup Series point tally.  Allegiant will also award several pairs of tickets to lucky race fans during the season. Greenbrier, TN-based AR Bodies will post a $500 product certificate to the Flat Rock and Toledo Speedway Street Stock champions in 2011.  AR will add another $500 product certificate for the ARCA Sportsman champion, while the fourth certificate will be awarded in a random draw at the track awards banquet to a Sportsman driver. Through the efforts of Sunoco Race fuel suppliers Corrigan Oil and Bazell Race Fuels, a $50 cash bonus award will be doled out at selected “weekly” racing events at both Flat Rock and Toledo Speedways.  Drivers that purchase drums of fuel, a minimum of 5 gallons on race night or in the week leading up to the event will have their name thrown in the hat for the random draw.  A season-ending bonus for the top 2 fuel purchasers at each track of $150 and $100, respectively, will be given out at the awards banquet. Each company has various eligibility requirements to collect the awards.  Race teams can pick up their contingency packets upon arrival to the tracks for the pre-season practice sessions or on race day.
