Toledo, Flat Rock Figure-8 Train Race Dates Set; Husband/Wife Event Slated for Sept. 24
(TOLEDO, Ohio - March 21, 2011) - Toledo and Flat Rock Speedways will once again host the very popular Figure 8 Train race events this year. A total of six (6) races are on the schedule, with two at Flat Rock and 4 events at Toledo. And for the first time, a husband/wife Figure 8 Train race has been added.
The rules are simple: The cars must be stock four cylinders, front-engine, hardtop coupe, sedan, or station wagon. Cars must be chained or cabled together. Safety equipment and rollover bars are required. The front car has the engine, the back car has the brakes! And with that said, you can imagine the wild action that takes place on every inch of the asphalt surface!
The dates of the Figure 8 Train Races are Saturdays June 18 and August 6 at Flat Rock and Fridays, May 27, July 15, August 19 and September 2 at Toledo. The date for the Husband/Wife Train Race is Saturday, September 24 at Toledo.
