(SYLVANIA, Ohio - August 30, 2010) - Tommy F. Coon, long time ARCA crew member and uncle of ARCA Street Stock driver Brian Norton, died Thursday, August 26 at Ebeid Hospice Residence in Sylvania, Ohio. Tom Coon served on his nephew's pit crew from the time Norton began his career in Enduro racing through his two ARCA Street Stock championships at Flat Rock Speedway, totaling 70 feature victories.

Surviving Tom Coon are his wife Donna; father Don Coon; brother Tim (Donna) Coon; and sister Diane Franks. Services were held Monday, August 30, and memorials may be made to:
