Toledo Speedway

Flat Rock, MI (8-21-2010) --  Flat Rock Speedway's Saturday, August 21 event has been cancelled due to the rain.  Showers started at the track around 9:30 a.m. and continued as track officials decided to pull the plug.

The Kid's Night promotion will now be moved to next Saturday, August 28.  All kids to age 14 will be admitted FREE and receive a FREE hot dog, chips and a drink, courtesy of Sherwood Foods, Bar S Hot Dogs, Seyfert's Snacks and the Dr. Pepper/Snapple Group.  Parents are reminded to pick up the kids ticket/food voucher at the ticket office upon arrival to the speedway next Saturday.
 
The UAW Local 3000 tickets that are dated August 21 will be honored next Saturday, August 28 only. 
 
The ARCA Moran Chevrolet Late Models, DTS Drive Train Specialists Street Stocks and the Figure 8's will provide the action for the August 28 event.  The pit area opens at 2, practice begins at 3:30, time trials are at 5 and racing begins at 7 p.m.  The track will also host their annual Racer's Reunion and Fan Club Night next Saturday.
 
ALL grandstand tickets will go on sale at 3:30 p.m. race day.
