Toledo Practice Session Washed Out; Re-set for Wed, April 28

TOLEDO OH (4-26-10) - Heavy rains washed out Toledo Speedway's Sunday afternoon pre-season practice.  The rains came just as the cars were ready to hit the track for the test session. 

The practice has been rescheduled for this Wednesday, April 28 from 5 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.  The pits will open at 4 p.m.  The tech barn will be open and tire and fuel sales will also take place in preparation for Friday night's first race of the season.
 
Race number 1 of the Valvoline Summer Racing Series presented by K-100 at Toledo Speedway is set for Friday, April 30.  PNC Bank will sponsor the event, which will feature the ARCA Sportsman, Figure 8's, Factory Stocks and 4 Cylinders.  
 
The Valvoline Instant Oil Change store on Telegraph Road at the corner of Alexis Road will host a live Cumulus Radio remote from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. to assist the track in promoting the season opener.  
 
Friday's schedule has the pits opening at 3:30, practice goes at 5, with time trials at 6:15 and racing at 7:30 p.m.  The spectator gates will open at 5 p.m.  Admission is just $10 for adults, children 6-14 are $3 and under 6 are free.  Parking is FREE of charge on the speedway grounds.
