TOLEDO OH (4-6-10) - The newly-created Valvoline Instant Oil Change (VIOC) Summer Racing Series presented by Cumulus Radio will kick off at Toledo Speedway for the first event on Friday, April 30.  The concept groups together 10 Friday night races at the Glass City oval.  The Toledo-area Cumulus Radio stations will provide the exposure for the Series throughout the 2010 season through on-air spots and various promotions.

Valvoline Instant Oil Change customers will receive a Family 4 Pak (2 adults, 2 children) of tickets to attend one of the 10 Summer Racing Series events with the purchase of an oil change at one of the 9 Toledo area VIOC locations (a $26 Value).  Fans will receive a voucher for the Family 4 Pak and will present the voucher and their oil change sales receipt at the Toledo Speedway ticket office at any one of the 10 events for admission.

For each of the 10 weeks of the Summer Racing Series, Cumulus Radio will host radio remotes at one of the Valvoline Instant Oil Change sites.

The dates, all Friday night shows, are; April 30, May 7, May 14, May 21, June 25, July 16, July 30, August 6, August 20 and August 27. 

"We are very excited to announce the Summer Racing Series concept and our partners in Valvoline Instant Oil Change and Cumulus Radio," noted track promoter Ron Drager.  "This package will give Toledo Speedway tremendous exposure and give the fans a chance to obtain race tickets - at NO charge when they get their oil changed - to any one of the 10 events that make up the Summer Racing Series."

Weekly Friday night racing begins with Race #1 of the Valvoline Instant Oil Change Summer Racing Series--the PNC Season Opener on April 30.  The ARCA Sportsman, Factory Stocks, Figure 8's and 4 Cylinders will provide the racing action.  The front gates open at 5 and racing begins at 7:30 p.m.  The track phone number is 419-727-1100.  The track is located on Benore Road at the I-75/Alexis Road exit on the Michigan-Ohio border.
