Allegiant Air, Five Star Race Bodies Renew Flat Rock, Toledo Backing

TOLEDO, OH: (1-30-09): Flat Rock and Toledo Speedway management is proud to announce the continued associations with two companies for the 2009 racing programs at the pair of ARCA-sanctioned short tracks. Allegiant Air will once again serve as a co-sponsor of the Late Model Gold Cup Series, while Five Star Race Car Bodies returns with contingency programs for both the ARCA Street Stock class at Flat Rock and the ARCA Sportsman division at Toledo.

Allegiant Air, which operates a hub out of Toledo Express Airport, will enter its third year of partnership with Toledo Speedway.  Allegiant features low fares to a variety of destinations, including the Sanford/Orlando area and Tampa Bay out of the Toledo location.  The airline will award two round-trip tickets from Toledo to Sanford/Orlando to each of the top 3 finishers in the final Gold Cup point standings, as well as a pair of tickets to the winner of the 21st running of the Glass City 200 in October.  Race fans will also have the opportunity to win a pair of tickets during promotions at the track during the 2009 season.

"The Allegiant Air and Five Star programs are important to our contingency awards program for our race teams," noted Jack Franzil, Chief Inspector for the 2 tracks.  "Their continued support is greatly appreciated."

Flat Rock opens its weekly shows Saturday, April 25, while Toledo's Friday night weekly race cards begin May 1.
