Toledo Speedway

TOLEDO OH (1-9-09): Flat Rock Speedway's 2009 schedule is now out, with the 1/4 mile asphalt oval slated to begin its 56th consecutive season of operation beginning Saturday night, April 25. The ARCA Late Models, Figure 8's and Street Stocks will provide a majority of the action at "The Rock" again this year.

Changes for the upcoming season include moving the four 250 lap Enduro race events to Saturday dates on the 2009 schedule and the return of the MCR Dwarf Cars for a July 4 contest.

An additional Fireworks show has been added, with the May 23 race date to include pyrotechnics.  The traditional Triple 50's and Fireworks show is set for Saturday, July 11.

The 100 lap and 150 lap ARCA Late Model races will once again become part of the Glass City Gold Cup Series in conjunction with 3 Toledo Late Model dates, making for a 5 race Series in 2009.  More details will follow shortly on the Gold Cup.

The popular Boat Figure 8 races that have been a part of Toledo Speedway's schedule have also been added at Flat Rock this year on 2 nights, July 4 and September 12.

Toledo's 2009 schedule is expected to be released early next week.
