Pg. 40, B, IGNITION: (Point of emphasis): Box must be mounted out of reach of driver, towards right side of car. All wiring must be exposed and be in plain view.

Pg. 42, 11.  WHEELS AND TIRES:  (Add from impound handout to rule book):  Fine, suspension and/or loss of points may result for defacing or altering tires in any manner.

Pg. 61, 2.  (Add):  At no time may bars pass through firewall, with the exception of maximum of two (2) "stringers" from roll cage to frame horn, at a point no further forward than radiator.  Stringers may not be linked together in any manner.  (Now permitted for 2009, but not mandatory).

Pg. 62, 10:  (Add):  Collapsible sleeve on steering shaft highly recommended-not to be welded, but recommended to be pinned or bolted.

Pg. 62, 15:    (Add):  Minimum of one (1) driveshaft hoop to be on car, located towards front of car.  Driveshaft must be painted white.
