CANTON MI (4-21-08)--For twenty-one year old Justin Schroeder April 26th can't come quick enough. That will be the first chance Schroeder will be able to get back to what he knows best, and that's being behind the wheel of a racecar. He along with his family owned team, JMS Racing, will start the season at the historic Flat Rock Speedway in Flat Rock, Michigan where he will compete for the track championship. Schroeder will also compete at the Toledo Speedway for the gold cup championship, a five round series shootout to determine the 2008 track champion.

Schroeder will receive sponsorship support this season from G. Michael Kabot Orthodontics with offices in Farmington Hills, MI and Clawson, MI, All-Star Performance, Glass Unlimited located in Westland, MI, and Victory Racing Parts. With the help of these partners Schroeder feels that he will be a competitor to contend with from the start.  

"We have been ready for weeks just waiting for the year's first practice to roll around. We are bringing out a new Port City racecar that we have never had out on the track so the first practice will be really important. I know it will take a few weeks to tune the chassis to our liking but I really feel that this season will be a great year for us. It's just great to have sponsors like Michael Kabot, All-Star Performance, Glass Unlimited, and everyone else helping out this team this year," stated Schroeder.

Last season Schroeder finished fifth in the final Gold Cup standings at Toledo and a respectable sixteenth in the final points standings at Flat Rock as well as captured a heat race win in the process. Now with a new season just beyond the horizon the JMS Racing team has high hopes for a successful season, and with hopes of adding more marketing support this season should be a good one.

"There's no question that the economy is in a bit of a slump especially up here in the Midwest but we encourage companies to take a look at what we have to offer and the affordability for what you get with a sponsorship package from JMS Racing. We are not really concerned with the budget because we have options for all levels of commitment, it's more what the company would like to accomplish within the program," said Schroeder.
