FLAT ROCK/TOLEDO SPEEDWAY RACE TEAMS
April 10, 2008

Hope to see many of you at the 2 mall shows this weekend!  Come on out and fill out your license applications and avoid the lines at sign-in!  We still have room for a few cars at each mall-call 419-727-1100 if you can make it.

Loving Auto Care has signed on as the sponsor of the Fast Qualifier Award for the Figure 8's at Flat Rock.  The fast man each night will receive $25.  Our thanks to Bob Loving for his support.

Contingency awards:  We have most of the decals and we'll have them at the mall shows and at the practices.  The complete awards breakdown will be handed out beginning with the practice days.

Practices:  Flat Rock:  Saturday, April 19, Noon to 5, pits at 10 a.m.; Wednesday, April 23, 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., pits open at 4.  Toledo:  Sunday, April 20, Noon to 5, pits open at 10 a.m.  Toledo rain date is Sunday, April 27.  Pit passes for practice are $15 each.  Pit passes for race nights remain the same; $20 member, $30 non-member.

Tires:  will be sold at each track on THURSDAYS ONLY, the same as 2007, from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.  Sportsman are $95 each, Late Models-$125 each. 

Fuel:  is $6.25 per gallon at this time at both tracks and is now available.

OPENING NIGHTS:  Flat Rock-Saturday, April 26; pits open at 12:30 this day only; practice at 3, time trials at 5, racing at 7.  Toledo-Friday, May 2; pits open at 3 for this day only, practice at 4:30, time trials at 6:15, racing at 7:30 p.m.  We will not wait for you to get through tech inspection-please get to the practices, go through tech and you won't have to worry about this.

FLAT ROCK PAD RENTALS:  Several of you have not returned your forms and paid for your pad. 

So, we'll waive the late fee but you MUST CONTACT Scott if you are going to keep your pad!  We have a waiting list-you have until Thursday, April 17 to call 734-782-2480.  If you do not call, your pad will be assigned to someone on the wait list.

TOLEDO PAD RENTALS:  There are still pads available for Sportsman, Figure 8 and Factory Stocks.  Call 419-727-1100.

FLAT ROCK OFFICE:  Will be staffed on a daily basis beginning next Tuesday, April 10.  Toledo office is already staffed daily.
