Toledo, Ohio—August 25, 2016: Friday’s LKQ Pick Your Part “Night of Destruction” will hit the track at Toledo Speedway Friday night, and a pair of track championships are also on the line. Ron Allen and Derek Halka are the point leaders for their respective classes going into the Season Championships Friday evening, August 26.

It’s also Autograph Night! Fans can walk onto the track and meet the drivers at 6:45 p.m. Bus rides for the kids will also take place.

Allen, the all-time win leader in the ARCA Aramark Late Model Sportsman class to go along with a record-leading 8 titles, narrowly leads Jim Froling by 20 markers going into the night’s action. Ron also captured last week’s R & M Recycling Silver Cup 3-race Series for the group when Froling’s car just quit while battling for the lead. 3^rd place man Kent McCloskey is also in the hunt for the championship, 115 points back.

First-year driver Derek Halka can complete a dream season if he can hold on to clinch the ARCA Factory Stock title on the short track. The Erie, MI driver leads Jacob Thomas of Monroe, MI by 60 points and Lincoln Park, MI racer Mike Miler by 75 tallies.

There’s much more fun and excitement in store for fans Friday night as the School Bus Figure 8 race will serve as the grand finale’ of the evening. A Figure 8 Train Race, Figure 8 Boat Race and the Flag Pole race are also on the schedule of events!

The gates and ticket office open at 5 p.m. Friday night. Practice begins at 5, time trials are at 6:15, the on-track autograph session is at 6:45 and show time is 7:30 p.m.
