Toledo, Ohio—January 27, 2016: Toledo Speedway management has added a Non-Wing Sprint Car race to the USAC Silver Crown date Saturday, April 30, creating an open-wheel double-header at the ½ mile paved oval.

The Non-Wing Sprint car portion of the event will be administered by the Spartan, MI Speedway officials and follow the “Spartan Sprint” rules package. Practice, qualifying, heat races and a 25 lap feature are on the race card for the Sprinters. The feature will pay $1000 to win and $300 to start.

“We are very pleased to add the Non-Wing Sprint event to our USAC Silver Crown race date at Toledo,” said Ron Drager, Owner and Promoter of the track. “We will be working with the Spartan Speedway staff to get the event off the ground,” added Drager. “The combination of the 2 divisions of open-wheel machines creates a new event for us at Toledo and should be an exciting attraction for open-wheel fans.”

The Hemelgarn Racing/Super Fitness Rollie Beale Classic will pay tribute to the late Rollie Beale, a Toledo resident. Rollie was the 1973 USAC Sprint Car champion and a former USAC Series director. Members of Rollie’s family will be in attendance for the April 30 event. The Silver Crown feature will be 100 laps.

Race time for the Saturday, April 30 will have a 6 p.m. start time. Additional information and the complete time schedule for the event will be announced in the coming weeks.
