ARCA LATE MODEL AND LATE MODEL ALLIANCE RULE AMENDMENTS (11-25-15)
In an effort to preserve and maintain the Outlaw Late Model class, and with the goal to reduce speeds, track officials from Berlin, Flat Rock, Kalamazoo, the Main Event Series and Toledo have unanimously agreed to the following changes for the 2016 season. Area tracks that still race Outlaw Super Late Models are encouraged to join us on these amendments.
Changes for 2016 are in bold.
REAR SPOILER: Maximum 6 inches high by 72 inches wide (material); Must be made of flat, clear material with maximum 1 inch rear-facing lip. Maximum 40 inches from ground to top of spoiler. Rear quarter panel height 34 ½ inches MAXIMUM, measured at the base of the rear spoiler.
FRONT NOSE PIECE: No splitters, NO alterations or additions to after-market nose piece anywhere. Nose to be mounted in conventional manner. Factory molded 3 inch lip MAXIMUM. (This measurement will be reduced to 1 inch for the 2017 season). Nose piece will have no more than 1 ½ inches of belly built into face of nose.
**All other measurements/rules pertaining to these 2 items remain in effect for the 2016 season.
