REMEMBERING JOHN MILLER

Former Toledo Speedway announcer and scorer John Miller, age 63, passed away Monday, May 25 at St. Anne’s Mercy Hospital.  John worked for Sonny Adams in the 1980’s and 1990’s in several capacities.  He was employed by Belle Tire for more than 15 years before retiring.

John was an avid NASCAR fan and Brad Keselowski was his favorite driver.  He was also a big Michigan Wolverine fan and loved to fish, camp and spend time with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife of 14 years, Lari; daughter, Jodi Miller; son, J.J.Miller; step-daughter, Cara Shank and step-son, Ryan Fiegl, 5 sisters, 7 brothers and seven grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Sunday, May 31 at the Newcomer Funeral Home-Northwest Toledo Chapel, 4150 W. Laskey Road in Toledo, from Noon to 6 p.m.  Services will immediately follow.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Parkinson’s Research Foundation in John’s memory.
