TOLEDO READY FOR 7-UP TWIN 100’S OPENER SATURDAY AFTERNOON

Toledo, Ohio—April 10, 2015:  A busy 4 hour practice session at Toledo Speedway was completed for Friday afternoon as drivers tuned up for Saturday’s 7-Up Twin 100’s.  The Saturday forecast is for sunny skies, decreased winds and 60 degrees!

Two types of Super Late Models will compete in separate 100 lap contests tomorrow.  The outlaw-bodied ARCA Royal Truck and Trailer Gold Cup Late Model Series and the ARCA/CRA Super Series powered by Jeg’s stock-bodied Late Models, teamed with the ARCA Midwest Tour Late Models, will provide the action for the pair of 100 lap main events on the fast ½ mile paved oval

Cody Coughlin led the 26 car field for the ARCA/CRA Super Series practice sessions with a quick lap of 15:622, followed by 2014 Toledo race winner Brian Campbell (15:671), 2014 Series champion Travis Braden (15:720), Brandon Oakley (15:728) and ARCA Midwest Tour champion Ty Majeski (15:741).

Terry Senneker led the charge for the 18 cars for the ARCA Royal Truck and Trailer Gold Cup Series Late Model practice sessions at 15:082.  Brent Jack (15:181), Dakota Carlson (15:250), Jeff Ganus (15:257) and Nick Bailey (15:284) rounded out the top 5.

Saturday’s schedule begins with practice at 10 a.m., with a 1 hour session slated for both groups.  Time trials begin at 1 p.m., an on-track autograph session will take place after qualifying and racing begins at 3 p.m. for the 7-Up Twin 100’s.
