1099 forms:  Those that collected over $600 in prize money will be receiving a 1099 in the mail in the coming weeks.  IF there are corrections to be made, please call us so we can make the changes.

DATE CHANGE:  The date for the annual Racer’s Reunion and Michigan Auto Racing Fan Club meeting has been changed to Saturday, March 21 at the Toledo Speedway Bar and Grille.  More details soon.

Sponsors:  We have just received confirmation that Praxair will return as the Figure 8 division sponsor!  With this announcement, all track division sponsors have now renewed for 2015!   Moran Chevrolet (Flat Rock Late Models), Ararmark Uniform Services (Late Model Sportsman), DTS Drive Train Specialists (Street Stocks) and R & M Recycling (X Car class sponsor).  Please be sure to say thank you to these folks and support their businesses!  We are searching for a sponsor for the Gold Cup Series at this time.

Car numbers:  Any changes of car numbers—be sure to call us at the office, or, if you are switching classes.  “We will start a new car number list for the Factory Stocks.  Please remember the Enduro races have an entry fee and a separate car number list…we will do our best to work with everyone.

The 2015 membership forms are now up on the web pages and can be found under forms.  There is no increase in membership fees.

Pad rentals:  will begin in early February.  Watch the website for details soon!

BCSN TV:  The Buckeye Cable Sports Network will once again televise numerous races at both tracks in 2015.  The dates will be announced soon.  Recently-retired driver Rich Frantz will join the BCSN team as a color commentator for many of these events.

Enduro/Factory Stocks:  For the first time ever, a 250 lap Enduro race will be contested at Toledo—Friday, June 19.  There will be 4 Enduros at Flat Rock and the 1 at Toledo.  A total of four (4) separate Factory Stock races will be held at Toledo during the season, with a point system in place for the 4 events.  And, these cars may also run with the X Cars (these 2 classes are not scheduled on the same night), giving this group an option to run plenty of nights if desired. The Enduro race entry form is on the web pages under forms.

Saturday-Sunday, March 21-22 is the date for the Motor City Hot Rod and Racing Expo in Novi, MI.  The track will once again have a booth for this event.

Late Models:  The minimum age for Late Model drivers has been moved to 15 years of age.  All other divisions are minimum age of 14.  **Any candidate will need to provide a racing resume, meet with track officials and do a private test session.  For details, call 419-727-1100.

New name!  The ARCA Sportsman class has undergone a title change—the division will now be known at the Late Model Sportsman.

Schedules:  Toledo will open Saturday, April 11 with the 7-Up Twin 100’s—ARCA/CRA Late Models and (new for 2015) the ARCA Gold Cup Late Models.  The Friday night weekly racing opener is May 8, with practice set for Tuesday night, May 5.  Flat Rock opens with a practice Saturday, April 18 and the first race Saturday, April 25.

Flat Rock:  We have made the decision to NOT race on Saturday, July 4.  We will, however, race FRIDAY, July 3--Figure 8’s, Street Stocks, MCR Dwarf Cars and the Enduro 250.  These will be point races.  Toledo will be dark and has no racing scheduled for July 3.

Ticket fundraiser program:  Both tracks have in place a pre-sale ticket fundraiser program for non-profit groups, charities, school groups, etc.  It’s very simple!  If you have a group that might be interested, give us a call at 419-727-1100.

Souvenir program ads, signage, race night sponsorships:  We are always grateful for any leads for new business at the 2 tracks!  If you will provide us with the information and contact, we will make the sales call!  And you will receive a commission when we close the deal!  Again, call us if you know of any business that might be interested!

It’s still winter—but racing season is not that far away!  Next bulletin will be posted in late February.  Watch the website for sponsorship, contingency award announcements and more as we move closer to the new season!
