Did you leave early thinking they were going to call the race so you missed the last 70 laps? Want to watch it again. Visit Mike Miller's YouTube page: www.youtube.com/user/10yearnascarfan/videos ... If you have Google Chromecast the YouTube races are great on your TV.

The way the race ended is they talked to winner J.R. Roahrig during the halfway break. It was sprinkling and he was doing his rain dance. "Thanks to the crowd for helping with the rain dance to by the way. It was a wild race, I was a little nervous going back to green after the rain, especially starting on the outside. The bottom was pretty good, but I really wasn't sure about the outside, so we took it a little easy and everything worked out for us. The car was tight but it was still kind of fast. Me and Jeff (Ganus) had a real good battle the last 20 laps or whatever it was. With the last shower it would take time to dry again and it's 1 am, so I agree with the officials calling the race." Upon receiving the huge trophy (over 5 foot tall), "Thank you, you do a lot for racing, Melony and John (from title sponsor Great Lakes Helicopter) so I really appreciate it," said the South Bend, Ind., driver who is sponsored by Schneider Auto Sales, All Star, Senneker Performance.

Jeff Ganus finished second, "The rain came back and the race got called. It kind of sucks but we had a real bad tire vibration as soon as we went back green from that rain, it got worse and worse. .I didn't know if a hub was going to break or... I didn't know what was going on. Congrats to J.R. (Roahrig), they work pretty hard, he's a good dude ... so good job to him," said the Constantine, Mich., driver who is sponsored by Direct Detail, Sweet Manufacturing, Hutter Racing Engines, Senneker Race Cars.

Harold Fair Jr. finished third, his best finish since he won his second "You know what, there were three Senneker (Performance) cars up here and they were all good. My theory on this one is I was going to ride for 150 (laps) and  I looked at the radar before we got going again and didn't see anything coming, so I wasn't pushing any issues and it bit me. I was catching them at the end, I saw the raindrops but a little too late," said the Milan, Mich., driver who is sponsored by Health Plus, Senneker Performance, Royal Truck and Trailer.

2012 and 2014 Gold Cup Champion, Dakota Carlson finished fourth. "I think we definitely would have contended for the win. We had a hard tire in the first set and were able to come from 22nd to fourth in 70 laps. The car was much better on the second set of tires when I had scuffed them earlier in the day. Disappointed we didn't get the full race in. Especially when I left the hotel the next morning and the sun was shining, probably should have postponed till Sunday but hindsight is 20/20 right. Thanks to Tony LeClerc." Thanks for the email Dakota.

Brad Reithmeyer finished fifth and besides J.R. Roahrig, was very happy they called the race at the halfway point. "We blew a second tire of the night, a left front coming across the start finish line as soon as I backed out of the throttle to slow down for halfway it blew. The car is pretty bad and there was no way we were going to fix it for the second half of the race; so at least the rain came out. But man we were fast coming from 21st to fifth in 50 laps was a lot of fun. The car was so awesome that last run, I was cruising picking everyone off. We learned a lot this weekend from the practice on Friday to race day and even working on the car during the week. It was a huge weekend for our team, learning curve was big; and we can apply everything we learned to next year. Our first tire got cut during the wreck for the 51 car (Chris Benson); we are lucky the caution came out then because that would have been big, blowing the right rear tire; but we got it changed out under the caution and made a lot of changes to the car. I cannot thank Diamond pistons, Trend performance, Crunch N Nutter, JRI and the entire team and new friends we made racing up north in Michigan for the help this year. We worked really hard and it paid off all year. We were a top contender every week we showed up and for a first year team that is really impressive. we went to the track knowing we were contending for a win every week. So to Bob, Suzy, Leif, Keith and everyone at the shop Thank you for all your hard work." Thanks for the email Brad.

The 2013 winner of the Glass City, Dennis Strickland had an unlucky moment but lucky too. The aluminum axle tube broke and the wheel and hub came off. He said it was about 5 years old and he had many things bolted to it and it finally gave way. Dennis is a very lucky man. It flew up and hit the rollcage by his head, barely missing it.

This was the 26th running of the Glass City 200. The first 10 races were run from 1968 to 1977 and there was seven different winners. The race was revived in 1999 when ARCA bought Toledo Speedway and over the last 16 years, 13 different winners, with JR Roahrig being the 13th driver. Since the race was revived, only Steve Sauve (three wins) and Harold Fair Jr. (two wins) are repeat winners.

In the 2014 race of the top five, three drivers, Roahrig, Jeff Ganus and Brad Reithmeyer had their career best finishes. 2014 Gold Cup champion Dakota Carlson tied his career best finish.

It was announced that two-thirds of the starting field had Late Model championships at the local level or a traveling series (or both).

The Late Models were running about 160 mph at the end of the backstretch at Friday's practice.

The #38 didn't start the feature because of a driver's change (Michael Simko qualified and ran in the last chance race but had to spot for Jake Francis)..

Only four cars didn't make the race: Brian Clay, Dennis Rederstorf, George Rangel and Jimmy Theil.
