KIDS NIGHT, AUTOGRAPH NIGHT AT TOLEDO FRIDAY!
(Toledo, OH - July 29, 2014): Toledo Speedway has a great lineup of activities and great family fun this Friday evening, August 1! The track will host Kids Night and Autograph Night, sponsored by Meijer and Qualite Sports Lighting. Show time is 7:30 p.m.
Kids 14 and under will be admitted FREE this Friday, and will also receive a free hot dog, courtesy of Jim’s Butcher Shop of Flat Rock, MI, Sherwood Foods of Toledo and Schwebel Baking Company. The kids ticket/food voucher can be picked up at the ticket windows upon arrival to the track race day.
Fans of all ages will be permitted to walk onto the track at 7 p.m. to meet all the drivers at Toledo Speedway! Many of the race teams will have photos, candy and other giveaways for the fans in attendance Friday night.
There’s more fun and excitement on the track, when the ARCA Aramark Sportsman race cars battle on the ½ mile, while on the short track, the wild ARCA Praxair Figure 8’s and a pair of 25 lap features for the ARCA R & M Recycling “X” Cars are also on the race card.
The track will also host Racing Fan Club Night, rescheduled from the June 20 rainout, and the City of Toledo Employee Night will also take place Friday.
The pit gates will open at 4 p.m., while the front gate and ticket office opens at 5 p.m. Practice starts at 5, qualifying takes place at 6:15, the on-track autograph session begins at 7 and racing gets the green flag at 7:30 p.m.
Toledo Speedway is located on Benore Road at the I-75/Alexis Road exit, directly behind the Meijer store. Parking is free on the track grounds. The track phone number is 419-727-1100.
