Toledo Speedway

(July 15, 2014):  It’s a bit warm, but Santa Claus is packing the sleigh for his trip to Toledo and Flat Rock Speedways for the annual Christmas in July Prize Give-Away Nights, set for Friday, July 18 at Toledo and Saturday, July 19 at Flat Rock. 

The prize lists are growing each day!  Fans can enter the prize drawings upon entry to the speedways on both nights.  Anyone is welcome to donate a prize (minimum $10 value, please) for kids and/or adults.  Please call 734-782-2480 or 419-727-1100 today to contribute your prizes to the drawings. 

Marco’s Pizza will sponsor the Toledo event, which will include prize drawings for adults and kids.  .  Several bicycles have already been donated by LV Enterprises, and the prize list is expected to grow as July 18 nears.  Chef Marco will be on hand to represent Marco’s Pizza. 

The ARCA Aramark Sportsman, Praxair Figure 8’s, R & M Recycling X Cars and the Legends Cars will provide the entertainment on the track.  The spectator gates open at 5 and racing begins at 7:30 p.m. at Toledo Friday evening.

30 miles to the north of Toledo at Flat Rock Speedway, the Saturday, July 19 Christmas in July celebration, with prize drawings included, will take place.  Among the prizes is a pair of tickets to the Brickyard 400, courtesy of Dave Ketelhut, the track’s videographer.

The ARCA Praxair Figure 8’s, DTS Drive Train Specialists Street Stocks and the Legends Cars will hit the track for more wheel to wheel excitement.  The Legends Car event at “The Rock” will serve as a national qualifier for the class for a special event in North Carolina.

The gates open at 4 and racing begins at 7 p.m. at Flat Rock Saturday night.
